SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Machine Operators for a client in Mount Prospect, IL. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating automated and semi-automated production equipment to create and manufacture products.
SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temporary employees are offered competitive compensation ($18-$21/hr.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).
Available shifts include:2nd shift (2pm-10pm) and 3rd shift (10pm-6am)
Responsibilities of the Machine Operator: • Review the shift schedule and specifications located within the work area. • Load and unload raw materials into processing machinery to maintain a smooth flow of production. • Periodically check manufactured product for defects and ensure the level of quality. • Ensures that all production reporting & data collection is completed in a timely manner. • Oversee the start of a production line. • Set up and calibrate machinery according to specifications. • Troubleshooting and resolving issues that may arise during operation. • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clear and organized work area. • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes. • Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor.
Required Qualifications of the Machine Operator: • Previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. • Working knowledge of machinery/equipment • Results-oriented and driven work style. • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with team members • Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot potential issues. • Ability to lead a team and train other employees, as needed. • Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to understand mechanics and technical tasks. • Ability to identify issues or problems in operations or maintenance.
