SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Machine Operators located in Niles, IL. Responsible for operating the different types of packing machines used in Affy Tapple, QVC and Mrs. Prindable’s products (Bubble pack, Tri-Pack, and DoBoys). The packing operator is responsible also for set up the printers and select the proper labels according to the products, fill up all job tickets with the lot code numbers, changeovers, metal detectors control records and any other document related with the packing machines area. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include:1st Shift 7:00 am - 5:30 pm.2nd Shift 5:30 pm - 3:00 am.Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:
To verify all equipment for working properly.
To follow up Metal Detection Procedures.
To set up the Date coders for the bubble pack for the right sell by date
To set up shipping box printer for the right production date and sell by date
To set the tape box machine for the right color of tape
To make sure product is cold enough to be pack
To make sure you got enough people to run the packaging line
Be able to understand and comply GMP'S, Sanitation and Safety Procedures and to make sure personnel always comply with these procedures.
Required Qualifications of the Machine Operator:
Previous experience in production, manufacturing, assembling, and/or machine operating.
Standing for prolonged periods of time while running the packaging machine.
Able to Lift 10 to 15 pounds every 15-20 minutes repeatedly.
Able to push and pull trays in case the automated conveyors are not working properly.
