SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Machine Operators for a client in Woodridge, IL. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating automated and semi-automated production equipment to create and manufacture finished products. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($21/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include:1st shift: Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:00pm 2nd shift: Mon-Fri 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM 3rd shift: Mon-Fri 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:
Follow daily schedule
Neck Dimension checks once per shift
Material Distribution checks once per shift
Drop test performed every 2 hours following drop test procedure
Operator will be required to perform the mechanical and GMP duties
General Housekeeping
Continuously looking for ways to improve our current processes
Troubleshoot Packaging equipment in a timely manner
Clean blowmolder, grinder, and griding room
Notify Supervisor of any machine related issues
Required Qualifications of the Machine Operator:
Relevant experience as a Machine Operator
Basic mechanical skills & aptitude
Knowledge of 5S Practices
Must be able to climb stairs, sit, and stand for long periods
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
High School diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication abilitie
