SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Machine Operators for a client in Crystal Lake, IL. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating automated and semi-automated production equipment to create and manufacture finished products. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp to hire employees are offered competitive compensation $17.50/hr. as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include:
1st shift A Shift (2) – 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, Week 1: M/T/F/Sat; Week 2: Sun/W/Th ($17.00) B Shift (1) – 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, Week 1: Sun/W/Th; Week 2: M/T/F/Sat ($17.00)
3rd shift (1)– 10 pm to 6:30 am, M-F ($17.50) C Shift (5) – 6:00 pm to 6:30 am, Sun/T/T and every other Wed. ($17.50) D Shift (4) – 6:00 pm to 6:30 am, W/Th/F and every other Tue ($17.50)
. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:
Make necessary machine adjustments during product run.
Changing or assisting in changing rolls of material.
Visually and physically inspecting product.
Verifying materials.
Taking measurements on a standard ruler.
Recording production data.
Labeling and weighing cartons of product.
Submitting in process sampling in accordance with the customers sampling guidelines.
Meeting machine run-time, scrap, and quality objectives.
Required Qualifications of the Machine Operator:
Previous experience in production, manufacturing, assembling, and/or machine operating.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude is essential.
Flexibility to work overtime and extra shifts as needed.
Experience reading and interpreting production specifications a plus.
