You can work with the largest, privately held, North American supplier of Gears, Gearboxes, Shafts, and Assemblies as a direct-hire Machine Repair Rebuilder at their 140,000 square-foot climate-controlled facility. They pride themselves on injecting advanced manufacturing processes and vertically integrating with world-class heat treating and plating facilities. HOURS: 1st shift: 5am/6am start until 3:30pm (typically working 5 or 6 hours mornings 2 or 3 Saturdays per month)PAY: up to $34/hr (depending upon experience and quality of interview) Excellent union benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 K with a match)
What you will do...Repair, maintain, and rebuild machinery General maintenance as needed: weld, fabricate, electrical, plumbing, filter change, lift truck
What is required...· Ability to move, install, and maintain all machine tools used in production, plant equipment, and buildings.· Ability to tear down machine tools, troubleshoot, replace worn and broken parts, and assemble.· Ability to make adjustments and repairs to electrical and electronic equipment from low voltage to 120v - 480V· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.· Ability to understand hydraulic functions and able to read hydraulic schematic prints.· Ability to repair and maintain electric and gas-fired hardening furnaces· Ability to repair and maintain blast and all side equipment connected with heat treating.
