SURESTAFF is hiring for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for a company located in Romeoville, IL. The Maintenance Mechanic will ensure that equipment and machinery are working at optimal efficiency to produce and manufacture products safely and on time. This position will perform repairs and maintain machinery and equipment including but not limited to: engines, motors, pneumatic systems, conveyor systems, and production equipment. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temporary employees are offered competitive compensation $23 - $30/HR as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include 1st shift. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic:
Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
Repair all production equipment as needed.
Perform general housekeeping duties.
Update equipment, machinery, and tools as needed.
Comply with GMP, safety, OSHA, and audit standards.
Preferred Qualifications of the Maintenance Mechanic:
4+ years’ of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing/production.
Able to operate fork truck and scissor lifts
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Proven track record of effective problem-solving.
Strong communication skills.
