SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a large, established client located in Garland, TX. Industrial Maintenance Technician will perform routine work in repair and maintenance of facilities, buildings, and equipment. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-perm employees are offered competitive compensation $20 as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm.Responsibilities of the Industrial Maintenance Technician:
Ensure work areas are clean.
Addresses maintenance related incidents (e.g. spills).
Troubleshoots and addresses basic repairs and maintenance including electrical, carpentry, and plumbing.
Maintain and perform maintenance of building and grounds.
As needed order supplies, and equipment.
Estimates repair cost.
Maintain Preventive Maintenance Program.
Promote and adhere to all Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
May train other Maintenance Technicians
Continually search for cost savings.
As needed respond to emergency and scheduled maintenance calls.
Performs work under minimal supervision.
All other duties as assigned for the successful operation of the facility.
Preferred Qualifications of the Industrial Maintenance Technician:
A high school diploma, GED, or equivalency.
Basic math and communication skills required.
4-6 years of experience in an industrial setting
Electrical/Electronic background preferred.
