CCSF Board Builder Location: Des Plaines, IL Pay: $18.50/hourSign-On Bonus: $100 (after working 80 hours) SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Board Builders for a large, well-known logistics client in Des Plaines, IL to work in their Freight & Cargo Division. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a fast-paced distribution environment and play a key role in shipping, receiving, inventory management, and specialized freight handling. Shift Available:
1st Shift (7am-3:30pm & 8am-4:30pm)
Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
Operational execution for all warehouse services required of CH Robinson Customers
Following all SOP’s and procedures
Building/netting PMC’s
Pulling and labeling freight
Ensure all manifests, invoices, orders, shipping documentation, and forms are accurate
Communicate with Gateway and CCSF supervisors regularly
Assist with the screening process once able to do so
Know, understand, and follow all warehouse safety requirements
Unloading and if needed fixing or rebuilding any freight returned from the airline
Understand and comply with all TSA compliance regulations illustrated in the CCSP and IACSSP
Assist in maintaining recordkeeping requirements regulated by the TSA
Be knowledgeable and follow all policies and procedures
Cultivate a positive and innovative work environment
Other duties or responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 years building air boards and working in a CCSF
