Material Handler-WEEKEND ONLY Location: Des Plaines, IL Pay: $19/hourSign-On Bonus of $100 (after working 80 hours) SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Weekend Warehouse Associates for a large, well-known logistics client in Des Plaines, IL. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a fast-paced distribution environment and play a key role in shipping, receiving, inventory management, and specialized freight handling. Shift Available:
7am-3:30pm Every Friday & Saturday
7am-3:30pm Every Saturday & Sunday
Responsibilities:
Load and unload cargo from trailers.
Palletize, stretch wrap, and label cargo to prepare for outbound transport.
Stage and store freight safely while maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization.
Verify paperwork accuracy, and report discrepancies or damages.
Assist with inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Lift 50–70 lbs consistently and stand for extended periods.
Additional duties as needed/directed by management.
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of warehouse experience is preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety/compliance.
Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
