SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Mechanical Assembler for a large manufacturing client located in Elgin, IL. The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for the assembly of parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp to hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($17/hr.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts: 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm Responsibilities of the Mechanical Assembler:
Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the assembly process.
Utilize hand-held tools as needed.
Production control - keep accurate records of production quantities and time.
Report on issues, malfunctions or defective parts, pieces, tools and materials.
Perform quality work checks to insure the product(s) meet quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications of the Mechanical Assembler:
Previous mechanical or electronic assembly experience
Ability to assemble products using hand tools and equipment
