SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Mold Maintenance Assistant for a (plastic industry) client in Hazle Township, PA. The Mold Maintenance Assistant is responsible for maintains plastic injection molds in an efficient manner to ensure that they are in sufficient working order to produce proper products.
SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $18.21/hr as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shift include: 1st shift 6:30am-3:00pm/Monday-Friday Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Mold Maintenance Assistant:
Operate crane
Open mold
Buffing polish
Separate mold
Take out over packed plastic
Prepare transfer mold
Sand paper polish
Shine polish
Change hydraulic hose correctly
Drive forklift
Change mold insert
Required Qualifications of the Mold Maintenance Assistant:Required Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent.
6 months to 1 year of experience in a related field.
Knowledge of:
Basic math and Algebra
Safety
Skill in:
Effective Communication
Crane operation
Ability to: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization Ability to calculate amounts in percentages and fractions, including multiplication and division of fractions Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Heavy work: Activities will involve frequent standing and walking, and communicating verbally and in writing. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Correct visual acuity to 20/20. Physical ability to move body quickly in order to avoid moving mechanical parts and/or heavy machinery. Work during evenings and weekends as needed.
