SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Molding Machine Operator for our client Indianapolis, IN. The Molding Machine Operator will manage the entire molding process including; equipment set-up, reading and following specifications, and inspecting molds, and delivering finished products to end-user for delivery. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, make safety a priority, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Pay for this position starts at $17/hr.This is a 1st shift position. Monday-Thursday, 6a-6p.Responsibilities of the Molding Machine Operator
Set up and operate mold press(es).
Monitor process parameters on the mold press(es) and gather all parts, molds, tools, and materials.
Safe, accurate, and timely executive of tooling changeovers per work instructions.
Set up and adjust assembly, auxiliary, and packaging equipment.
Troubleshoot molding problems including but not limited to flash, short shots, dimensional issues, etc.
Light assembly and packaging
May be required to work in other areas, in any reasonable capacity, on an as needed basis.
Required Qualifications of the Molding Machine Operator:
Previous experience in production, manufacturing, assembling, and/or machine operating.
Previous plastics injection molding experience a plus.
Flexibility to work overtime and extra shifts as needed.
Experience reading and interpreting production specifications a plus.
Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Forklift experience a plus.
Basic knowledge and ability to read 2D drawings and documentation.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced production environment.
