Summary:In the position of On-Site Supervisor you will significantly contribute to the overall success of Millennium Staffing by providing a high level of customer service, support, and collaboration with the client. Working directly with the Millennium Search, LLC VP of Operations and Client Services, the client and client operations you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality-of-service Millennium Search, LLC provides. Supervisory Responsibilities:
Train contract employees on responsibilities of role.
Oversee daily workflow and scheduling.
Administer standard employment processes for the above client-dedicated supervisory personnel, including but not limited to onboarding, training, reviews, issue resolution, and coverage scheduling in accordance with client expectations – including navigation of paid time off.
Handle disciplinary actions, when necessary, in accordance with company policy.
Responsibilities:
Ensure efficient client operations through collaboration and coordination with client contacts and department lead.
Provide floor support to both the client and employees by having high visibility while walking, standing and observing the day-to-day operation.
Provide end of day reports, headcount reports, termination reports, worker’s compensation incident/injury reports, headcount request and all other forms of reporting to the On-Site manager prior to end of shift each day.
Provide updated attendance, coaching, counseling, payroll discrepancies and employment status for all employees.
Provide accurate and consistent information/communication to all employees according to the guidelines set forth by Millennium Search, LLC and the client.
Provide guidance and direction to employees as it relates to attendance, performance, productivity, company policies and procedures through both verbal and written communication.
Must be able to provide guidance and direction to employees in the resolution of daily problems and issues while collaborating with the VP of Operations & Client Services.
Manage employee discipline and termination of employees as needed to align with client needs and in accordance with company policy.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, local employment laws and safety regulations.
Represent the Millennium Search, LLC brand with high integrity and professionalism.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
1+ years of supervisory experience. Warehouse experience preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong time-management, detail orientation, and prioritization skills to multi-task competing requirements in a timely and accurate manner.
Extremely flexible, highly organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail.
Proven customer service skills including the ability to connect with customers internally and externally.
Experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as have a solid foundation with the Internet.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk & stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to move fast in emergency situations up to but not excluding running.
Ability to bend and stoop.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse.
