Job Description
SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Machine Operators for a company that specializes in printing business products in Indianapolis, IN.
Shift: 6a-3p, Monday-Friday with Overtime as needed. Pay starts @ $16/hr. This client has a variety of machines that you could operate. Responsibilities may include:- Set up routing number, account number, and consecutive number on each MICR
- Change out impact pads as they become worn on each of the numbering hammers
- Read and follow the production or manufacturing special instructions on every order you run
- Mount plates on the press, keep ink in fountain, keep fountain solution topped off
- Perform minor adjustments to press such as ink keys, roller pressure, clean water roller covers, replacement of blanket
- Use the Pantone Scales to mix ink if necessary
- Print forms and checks on an offset printing press
- Print cut sheet forms on a web offset printing press
- Produce numbered checks and forms
Required Qualifications of the Machine Operator:- Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Must have effective communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to do basic math functions
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed
- Helps to be mechanically inclined
