Sure Staff is seeking organized and reliable individuals for temporary clerical positions. These roles will involve supporting the end-to-end processing of Absentee and Early Vote (AVEV) data. Positions are available until November, with part-time hours of approximately 4 hours daily. Flexibility is key, as work hours may vary. Candidates must be Cobb County residents and be flexible with their schedules to accommodate varying hours as needed. The scheduled hours will be between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Shifts will typically be from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with training usually from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Employees may be allowed to work additional hours throughout the week, including optional Saturdays, but must work the mandatory 4-hour shift assigned after training. Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform end-to-end processing of Absentee and Early Vote (AVEV) data
Format and audit incoming data using various software tools
Gain proficiency with proprietary Catalyst tools through on-the-job training
Document work clearly and thoroughly
Plan, manage, and execute special projects as assigned by the Director of Data Acquisition
Requirements:
Experience with standardizing, cleaning, or processing datasets
Basic familiarity with Python or other programming languages
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask
Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to focus on details and suggest process improvements
Willingness to learn new skills quickly
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
Must pass a background check
Preferred Skills & Abilities:
Some understanding of SQL
Experience with political campaigns or progressive organizations is a plus
