SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a Pre Weigh Tech for our client’s chemical manufacturing plant in Bedford Park, IL. The Pre Weigh/Compounder will performed pre weigh activities for GMP compliance and accuracy. Weighing, measuring, or subdividing operations for components shall be adequately supervised. Each container of components dispensed to manufacturing shall be examined by a second person to assure that it is the proper ingredient and is dispended properly.

Responsibilities of the Pre Weigh Tech:
Follow the requirement of SPO DH-09
Prior to starting the pre weigh process the weigh are will be cleared of materials from previous operations and cleaned.
Will wear an apron, gloves, arm covers and a hairnet during the pre-weigh process.
Will verify the component name or item code is correct.
Receive the control number and verify the number is on container and recorded onto batch record.
Verify weight or measure of the material is accurate and recorded on batch record.
Will verify the component was released by the quality control unit and is suitable for use.
Weighed batch and labeled as specified.
The pre weighed materials will be palletized and identified according to the requirements of Standard Operating Procedures DHA-09
Preferred Qualifications of the Pre Weigh Tech:
Minimum of 3 Year experience in a personal care manufacturing environment or similar auditing background.
Read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, reports and legal documents.
Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or the business community.
Write and speak clearly and effectively.
Effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/ or regulatory agencies.
Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Experience working with chemicals and/or chemical compounding.
Previous experience in a production environment.
