Job Description
SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Pressbrake Operators for a lighting manufacturer client in Kenosha, WI. The Pressbrake Operators is responsible for operating automated and semi-automated production equipment to create and manufacture finished lighting products. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shift is 1st (5am-1:30pm). Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Press Brake Operator: - Prepare machine for production by positioning and securing dies, stops, guides, and turntables.
- Safely and effectively operates thermoforming equipment to produce a quality product
- Reads job specifications and previous run data (if available) to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Ensures job is in order prior to machine set-up.
- Performs required quality testing on products produced.
- Uses CNC controller to input data into machine
- Observes machine operation to detect piece defects or machine malfunction. Makes corrections to alleviate out-of-specification product.
- Will entail standing for long periods of the day and lifting up to 50 pounds frequently during the shift, up to 100 lbs assisted on occasion.
Required Qualifications of the Press Brake Operator:- 5+ years of Press Brake experience
- Forklift Certification
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing, assembling, and/or machine operating.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude is essential.
- Experience reading and interpreting production specifications is a plus.
