Job Description
SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for Production Associate in Elk Grove Village, IL. As a Production Associate for SURESTAFF, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and be involved in all aspects of manufacturing operations for a company in the metal industry. Production Associate are required to perform a variety of tasks that require manual labor and use of tools, machinery, and equipment. The position entails heavy lifting and standing on your feet the entire shift. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $17/hr. as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include 1st shift (7am-3pm).Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Production Associate:- Prioritize orders into the production schedule and ensure orders are processed in a timely manner.
- Produce and package products according to company and customer specifications.
- Receive incoming shipments and prepare outgoing shipments.
- Perform all other duties as required by the company.
Required Qualifications of the Production Associate:- Two to three years’ experience in production work
- Knowledge of grinding, shearing, and welding of steel a plus
- Knowledge of operating simple automatic machinery
- Knowledge of some basic computer skills-Windows based programs
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to communicate in English Spanish also spoken in the factory.
- Bi-lingual language skills a plus
- Maximum lifting will be 60 lbs.
