SURESTAFF is immediately hiring an Production Designerfor a client company in McKinney, TX. As a Production Designer for SURESTAFF, you will need to help bring innovative acoustical products to life in our fast-growing manufacturing environment. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $25, as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm Production Designer Duties and Responsibilities:· Create 3D models and production-ready drawings using SolidWorks sheet metal functions.· Develop flat patterns optimized for cutting with industrial flatbed cutters.· Generate detailed production drawings with Bills of Materials (BOMs).· Ensure accuracy and consistency in drafting practices.· Work closely with engineering, production, and CNC operators to ensure smooth manufacturing execution.· Assist in developing custom solutions based on client needs and production constraints.Production Designer Requirements and Qualifications· 2+ years of SolidWorks experience in a manufacturing environment.· Associate degree in Drafting or a related field preferred (SolidWorks Certification is a plus).· Strong knowledge of flat pattern development and sheet metal design.· Experience generating detailed production drawings and BOMs.· Knowledge of configurations and derived configurations for efficient design modifications.· Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.About Surestaff At Surestaff, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
