SURESTAFF is expanding into Pontiac, IL! We are immediately hiring for Production, Warehouse, and General Laborers starting at $17/HR. As an Associate for SURESTAFF, you will work in a fast-paced printing & binding environment and be involved in all aspects of production & warehouse operations including:
Material Handling
Shipping & Receiving
Machine Operation
No experience is necessary and qualified applicants can start immediately! This position will require candidates to be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temporary employees are offered competitive compensation ($17) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include 2nd and 3rd. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Production (General Laborers):
Reads work orders to determine which materials are to be moved.
Load and unload materials from pallets by hand.
Moves materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.
Attaches identification tags or labels to materials or marks information on containers.
Stacks materials into bundles and bands bundles together. Stacks (using wrist flexing motion) materials into bundles.
Cleans work area, makes minor repairs, and otherwise assists the machine operators.
May perform very basic clerical functions.
Assists with set up of equipment.
Assist crew in web up of press.
Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications of the Production (General Laborers):
Previous warehouse experience and/or training preferred.
High attention to detail and safety/compliance.
Demonstrate good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and sound judgement.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Ability to feed, stock, move, jog, arrange, unload, and rotate items on/off bindery or finishing equipmen
