Company Description: Our client is an entrepreneurial company that provides contract manufacturing services to the Cosmetics and Personal Care fields. We have been in business since 2018 and have grown at a very fast pace since that time. We specialize in developing and packaging liquids, creams and hot fill personal care products into bottles, tubes, jars, sachets, packets, and other package formats. SDB does not manufacture its’ own brand. Each product is manufactured to be customer specific and proprietary.

Job Title: Production Supervisor Employment Type: Full-time
Required Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: The Production Supervisor manages work processes and associates within the Department on designated shift. Experience operating in a GMP environment preferable and must be adaptable to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills a must. Demonstrated attention to detail. Responsibilities: • Manage and supervise all production associates. o Execute the schedule to keep all production lines running to meet customer needs. o Responsible for the workflow and developing line leads to take ownership of the line. o Monitor changeovers and set-ups to reduce down-time. o Exercise team attitude with peers on alternate shifts to ensure they have a smooth shift start. o Support cGMP by holding associates to required standards. o Monitor training to make sure new hires, temps, and department transfers understand their responsibilities. • Able to diagnose and correct problems within department and communicate issues cross functionally. • Change agent to support strategic initiatives around safety, quality, cost and on time service. • Responsible for executing Performance Evaluations for department associates. Qualification Skills: • High School Diploma or higher or related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Communication skills in both English and Spanish (2nd Spanish preferred) • Strong motivating and team building skills (mentoring and coaching) • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft office products and ERP system.
