SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for an experienced Production Supervisor for a client in Mundelein, IL The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and assisting in the day-to-day operations and managing plant employees working on multiple production lines. This position will supervise, mentor, and develop a team of production associates to ensure that production deadlines are met efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will enjoy mentoring others and have a proactive, problem-solving mentality. Demonstrated leadership abilities is a must! SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp to hire employees are offered competitive compensation $24-$30/hr. as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include 2:30pm-11pm Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor:
Ensure adequate staffing by scheduling, training, and mentoring the team to ensure they are meeting performance metrics.
Maintain a consistently safe work environment through re-enforcing OSHA policies.
Ensure efficient coordination and processing of work orders/tasks to meet deadlines and schedules.
Provide continuous training to employees to increase productivity and morale.
Promote a fun, safe workplace at all times.
Monitor and track daily production goals and hold employees accountable to their KPIs at all times.
Preferred Qualifications of the Production Supervisor:
3+ years’ experience in a production, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
Previous leadership experience in manufacturing or production.
Proven track record of effective problem-solving.
Strong communication skills.
