SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Punch Press Operator for a Metal Manufacturing client in Irving, TX. The Punch Press Operator is responsible for operating automated and semi-automated production equipment to create and manufacture finished metal products. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp - to - hire employees are offered competitive compensation STARTS at $18 + as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include Monday - Friday 6am - 4pm. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Punch Press Operator:
Configures and operates automated punch press to shear and punch 14-guage and 16-gauge menial used in manufacturing operations.
Performs daily tasks based on loaded programs and/or other instructions.
Responsibilities include configuring equipment and calibrating various settings, recognizing condition of punch tools, loading materials onto the equipment, and positioning and removing parts from the equipment when ready.
Keeps a record of operational data and performs routine equipment and tool maintenance.
Monitors work schedule to achieve production requirements as indicated daily.
Required Qualifications of the Punch Press Operator:
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Typically reports to a supervisor but works under minimal supervision.
Position requires 1-3 years related experience.
Murata or Amada type of machinery experience preferred but not required.
Must be will to take on tasks beyond punch press operations as a viable member of a team.
Candidate must have a positive mental attitude.
