SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician for a well known client in Elgin, IL. A successful Quality Assurance Technician should have excellent troubleshooting skills, have experience inspecting product in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment, and be able to ensure that product consistently meets quality standards and guidelines. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($17-$17.50/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include:1st shift 6am-2:30pm OR 7am-3:30pm Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Technician:
Conduct routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, in-process products, finished goods, environmental samples, and stability samples.
Interpret test results, compare findings against specifications and control limits, and determine data suitability for release.
Perform visual inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Compile laboratory data and perform appropriate analyses and trend evaluations.
Complete all documentation related to testing procedures, including data forms, equipment logs, and inventory records.
Calibrate, validate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
Participate in out-of-specification and failure investigations and recommend corrective actions.
Provide quality control data required for internal reporting and regulatory submissions.
Receive and inspect materials to verify compliance with specifications.
Identify, investigate, and report questionable or abnormal test results.
Support GMP and HACCP audits and quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications of the Quality Assurance Technician:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to interpret data and follow established testing procedures.
Basic understanding of quality control principles in a manufacturing environment.
Basic/Moderate Microsoft skills.
Previous experience in food manufacturing or quality assurance preferred.
Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards preferred.
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout production and laboratory areas for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. as needed.
