Job Title: QC Technician Equipment and Maintenance Manager Employment Type: Full-time 
Job Description: Oversees maintenance tasks, delegates tasks, and ensure the team completes high quality work and remains productive. Knowledge-Skills-Abilities (minimum) 
Education: Technical Degree or equivalent educational/military experience Experience: • 3 – 5 yrs. prior Maintenance Experience • Liquid filling Machine experience strongly preferred. Technology/Software (years): • Strong Microsoft Word & Excel Skills Communication: Bilingual English/Spanish is helpful. Physical Capabilities Strength: Must be able to regularly lift 55 lbs. Movement: Must be able to stand / walk for an entire eight-hour shift. Occasional bending, crouching, and crawling Hearing: Must be able to hear and understand work direction in a loud, distracting environment Vision: Must be able to judge distance, identify details, and view computer screen regularly Position Responsibilities-Tasks-Deliverables An individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty listed below. All duties as assigned and the following specific activities. • Analyze and manage company equipment needs. • Write proposals for new equipment or upgrades to meet new and existing customer requirements in line with company objectives of output. • Responsible for gathering quotes on building maintenance as needed. • Quotes and proposals still require upper management approval before actioned upon. • Direct the activities of the maintenance department to ensure that all plant equipment is maintained and repaired with minimum downtime. • Coordinate priority maintenance scheduling with production requirements in conjunction with production department managers and production scheduling department. • Enforce all safety procedures / policies and conduct weekly safety meetings. • Perform special projects as required. • Ensure compliance with all established work practices. • Keep necessary records and reports. • Attend and participate in all required staff functions including but not limited to Safety Committee Meetings, leadership development meetings Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) On-going outcome that is measurable (minimum of 3) • Meets service levels consistently; preferable to exceed expectations. • Communicates timely and to the appropriate personnel with regards to any information about meeting work assignments as directed or as inferred to be successful. • Uses materials, tools, and resources safely, appropriately and with value considerations, and conducts work activities in a safe manner with forethought to best actions rooted in safety for oneself and others. • Enact efficiency improvements. • Mentor and provide guidance to new members of the maintenance department.
