SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician for a Manufacturing company in Midlothian, TX. A successful Quality Control Technician should have excellent troubleshooting skills, have experience inspecting product in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment, and be able to ensure that product consistently meets quality standards and guidelines. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include 1st Shift 7 am - 3:30 pm Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Quality Control Technician:
Interprets discrete job routing sheet, artwork, and formulas and confers with management or other staff to determine quality and reliability standards. Provides inspection activity for incoming raw and packaging materials. Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures. Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards. Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability. Sets up and performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance. Coordinates quarantined product which includes retesting, deviation, moving to NCMR area, hold tags, and other necessary steps.
Required Qualifications of the Quality Control Technician:
1+ years’ experience in quality control, quality assurance, inspections, or a similar role.
3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with quality systems and controls.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
