SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician for a Supplement and Cosmeticcompany in Midlothian, TX. A successful Quality Control Technician should have excellent troubleshooting skills, have experience inspecting product in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment, and be able to ensure that product consistently meets quality standards and guidelines. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include 1st shift from 5am to 3:30pm. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Quality Control Technician: •Logs on incoming samples of raw materials, in-process materials and finished products in logbook and e-files. •Prepares test samples for microbiological analyses utilizing aseptic techniques. •Prepares and sterilizes standard microbiological cultural media. •Accurately documents and maintains necessary paper and electronic data records. •Maintains proper labeling, handling and storage of microbiological supplies, media, and reagents. •Maintains proper labeling, handling and storage of microbiological retain samples. •Operates general laboratory equipment such as an autoclave, pipet machine, incubator, analytical scales etc. •Housekeeping duties as assigned to maintain cleanliness. •Maintains proper labeling, handling, storage, and disposal of microbiological waste. •Manages time and tasks efficiently. •Other duties may be assigned as needed. Required Qualifications of the Quality Control Technician:
1+ years’ experience in quality control, quality assurance, inspections, or a similar role.
3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with quality systems and controls.
