SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Quality Control Technician for a large, well-known client in Glendale Heights, IL. As a QC Tech, you will ensure products meet company standards and regulatory requirements through inspections and testing. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! employees are offered competitive compensation ($19-21/hr.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include: 6:30am-3:00pm Monday-Friday Quality Control Technician Duties and Responsibilities● Perform Pre-operational Production checks, swabs and Sieve analysis. ● Conduct regular quality tests on our spice products to ensure they meet established specifications and standards. ● Analyze test results and report any discrepancies or deviations to the Quality Control Supervisor. ● Collaborate with the production team to ensure corrective actions are taken when necessary.● Maintain comprehensive records of all quality tests/logs, and any corrective actions taken. ● Ensure that all documents are filled out accurately, in detail, and are organized efficiently. ● Review documentation for compliance with company and regulatory requirements. ● Perform batch record review and verifications including sign-offs of applicable records. ● Other Duties as assigned. Quality Control Technician Requirements and Qualifications● Background in the food industry. ● 2-4 years of quality/QC experience. ● Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred ● Proficient with computers and Microsoft office products (word, excel, power point) and data entry. ● Strong organizational skills with strong attention to detail. ● No sensitivity to food or strong spice aromas. ● Willing to learn and obtain certifications if needed.
