SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector for an Aerospace company in Machesney Park, IL. A successful Quality Inspector should have excellent troubleshooting skills, have experience inspecting product in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment, and be able to ensure that product consistently meets quality standards and guidelines. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp to hire employees are offered competitive compensation $22-$26/hr. as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include 1st shift (8am-4:30pm) Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Quality Control Technician:
Perform in process and final inspection or repairs ad manufactured products for visual and dimensional characteristics, and verifying that they meet blueprints and specifications.
Create necessary 3D scans, 3D Models, and inspection forms for manufactured parts.
Create FAI's
Create certification packages to obtain customer shipping approval.
Communication: Reporting defects and issues to the production team, and collaborating with team members to improve processes.
Required Qualifications of the Quality Control Technician:
5 years or more experience in inspection of parts and assemblies in a machine shop.
3D Scanning equipment and CAD Software.
Attention to detail.
Familiarity with Microsoft programs. (Power point, Excel, Microsoft Word.)
