This position is located on the Eastside of Chicago, IL near the Ford Plants. Job Summary:The Shipping & Receiving Lead is pivotal in managing administrative functions and supervising staff within the organization. This role is essential for ensuring a streamlined and efficient administrative environment, making strong leadership and organizational skills vital for success. ***Please Note***This is NOT a forklift or dock work position! This is strictly an office base position. Shipping and Receiving Lead - 2nd shift lead Wed – Sat 3:30 pm -2am $24.50 You will need to be able to provide a professional resume detailed with recent 3-month work experience You will need at least 1 year of lead experience. The Shipping and Receiving Lead position requires MS Office experience and you will be required to pass an MS Office test. Please note that this position is always in a refrigerated environment at 32-37 degrees Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee daily activities, providing guidance and support.
Train new employees on procedures, policies, and software systems.
Assign tasks and prioritize workloads to ensure efficient office operations.
Monitor the progress of projects and address any issues that arise.
Act as a point of contact between manager/supervisor and associates.
Facilitate clear communication among team members and other departments.
Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
Perform various clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and document preparation.
Prepare reports and summaries on team performance and operational efficiency.
Analyze/Audit data to identify areas for improvement.
Identify inefficiencies in workflows and propose solutions.
Implement new procedures to enhance productivity and streamline operations.
Address inquiries and issues from clients or customers, ensuring a high level of service.
Ensure adherence to organizational policies and legal regulations.
Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Detail-oriented to maintain accuracy in records and reports.
