SURESTAFF is immediately hiring an (PCB) SMT Quality Control for a client in Garland, TX. The SMT Quality Control will be inspecting Printed Circuit Board assemblies to IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 Class 2 and Class 3. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($17 to 20/hr DOE) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include: Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm with overtime Responsibilities of the SMT Quality Control:
Inspect Printed Circuit Board assemblies to IPC-610 and J-STD-001 Class 2 and Class 3.
perform First Article and First Piece inspections for Surface Mount Technology Boards.
Identify and log manufacturing defects.
Scan barcoded assemblies to ensure full traceability of finished products.
Attend training and certification for IPC and JSTD.
Communicate effectively with process engineers and production staff.
Ensure on-time delivery for inspected products.
Read and interpret customer drawings and statements of work.
Research component package types, polarities and product characteristics.
Perform all other duties, as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Must have previous 3+ years of PCB inspection or assembly experince.
prefer a minimum 5 years Printed Circuit Board assembly experince.
No other inspection experince would be relevant.
