Direct Hire Safety Coordinator- Bilingual (Spanish)Location- Huntley, IL (On-Site)First Shift Top Manufacturing Company is seeking a dedicated Direct Hire Bilingual Manufacturing OSHA Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Coordinator to oversee and maintain all EHS programs for our manufacturing and warehouse facilities. The Safety Coordinator will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while promoting a safe and healthy work environment. This is an Entry Level role for our Safety Manufacturing Team looking for someone with Bilingual Manufacturing Safety Coordination with 2-4 years of experience. Target Salary Range is 50K with a Comprehensive Benefit Package
Responsibilities of the Safety Coordinator: Schedule and facilitate the Safety Meetings and Safety Committee Assists with the coordination of a variety of Safety/Environmental programs. Update reports that include training matrix, safety matrix and safety processes, and RCCS Maintain accurate records related to SDS Sheets and Storm Water Assess SOP procedures and equipment to gauge if they are in safe working order.
Required Qualifications of the Safety Coordinator: 1+ years’ experience or Associates degree. Ability to change in an organization reengineering its culture and approach to workload management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications.Facilitate Safety Committee meetings and coordinate annual trainings for Lock Out Tag Out, Confined Space, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Crane operations.Audit departments for safety compliance and report deficiencies to management. Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
