SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a client in Itasca, IL The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible tracking incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory records, and collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $19/HR as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shift: 8:00am-4:00pm. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Shipping & Receiving Clerk:
Entering shipping information into computer systems including order details, shipping methods, and tracking numbers.
Updating databases with information about incoming and outgoing shipments.
Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels
Generating reports on shipping activity and productivity.
Resolving discrepancies in shipments or inventory.
Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment.
Safely use material handling equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
Required Qualifications of the Shipping & Receiving Clerk:
Basic computer skills, including data entry
Attention to detail and accuracy, and strong organizational skills
Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs.
Experience and basic knowledge of UPS/FedEx systems
Previous experience using forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks preferred
Previous warehouse experience
