SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Shipping & Receiving Lead for a large, well-known client in Calumet Park, IL. As a Shipping & Receiving Lead for SURESTAFF, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations including:
Shipping & Receiving (Picker / Packer)
Quality Assurance
Inventory Control (RF Scanners)
SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! Shipping & Receiving Lead Shift Hours: 1st (M-F). Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Shipping & Receiving Lead Duties & Responsibilities:
Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against shipping documents.
Prepare outgoing shipments by packing products securely and accurately.
Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment safely.
Maintain accurate inventory records of stock levels in the warehouse.
Assist in organizing the warehouse to optimize space and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders.
Utilize warehouse management systems to track shipments and inventory.
Shipping & Receiving Lead Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in shipping and receiving or a similar role.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
Basic math skills for inventory management and record keeping.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts is a plus.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
