SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Shipping clerk admin for a large, well-known client in Terrell, TX. As a Shipping clerk admin for SURESTAFF, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations including:
Shipping & Receiving (Picker / Packer)
Quality Assurance
Inventory Control (RF Scanners)
SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $20 as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include Monday - Friday 6am-2:30pm Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Shipping clerk admin:
Monitor and control order processing/shipping to ensure timely delivery of products to satisfy customer requirements and compliance with all shipping regulations.
Produce necessary product labels, shipping, and hazmat information to production/operations in a timely manner
Preparation of all shipping documentation
Entering/updating order statuses in JDE
Scheduling outbound freight through freight forwarders and trucking companies
Determine and maintain compliance with all agency shipping regulations
Liaison with customers, order entry personnel, and manufacturing/operations regarding order shipments
Allocating and printing orders throughout the day
Maintain housekeeping to ensure a clean, neat, and orderly warehouse
Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Required Qualifications of the Shipping clerk admin:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lift heavy packages and operate warehouse equipment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Previous experience in shipping and receiving, warehousing, or inventory control is a plus
Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
