SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Shipping/Receiving Clerk for a client in Allen, TX. The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for handling incoming deliveries or third party transportation service.
SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp to hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($16/hr.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Employees also obtain a 3.5% raise upon hire.
Available shifts include 7:00am-3:30pm Mon-Fri.
Responsibilities of the Shipping/Receiving Clerk:-Count, manage documents, assign lot numbers and maintain accurate records-Manage the database system to ensure material is received timely -Perform data entry and validation activities using MS Access database-Assist with root cause research for count discrepancies on incoming purchase orders-Assist in executing the annual physical inventory-Provide support for shipping activities when necessary
Qualifications of the Shipping/Receiving Clerk:-High school diploma, plus minimum of three years experience with material handling and receiving-Previous data entry experience using a PC-Ability to work well in a team and multi-task-Good verbal and written communication-Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs.-Comfortable standing and being on your feet 8 plus hours a day-Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and execute projects on time
