SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a large, well-known client in Chicago, IL As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for SURESTAFF, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations including:
Shipping & Receiving (Picker / Packer)
Quality Assurance
Inventory Control (RF Scanners)

Available shifts include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis.
Responsibilities of the Shipping & Receiving Clerk:
Greet and assist visitors/drivers in a timely and friendly manner.
Sign drivers in and notify warehouse for dock assignment.
Coordinate with warehouse and transportation to ensure timely and accurate preparation of shipping and receiving documents.
Receives, counts, and logs cash received by carriers if applicable.
Maintain WMS Scheduler, hard copy schedules, and updates visual aids for traffic flow.
Verify paperwork with and releases drivers once paperwork is completed.
Completes receipts including pallets for loads.
Verify product and product count to ensure accuracy of data entered in computer.
Notify management of pending no shows and/or unscheduled arrivals.
Arrange outbound pick-up appointments for carriers and customer pickups.
Call carriers for late and/or no-show trucks and reschedule appointments as necessary.
Follows HACCP and SQF requirements for food quality and safety.
Required Qualifications of the Shipping & Receiving Clerk:
At least 1 year Shipping & Receiving experience.
Must have exceptional customer service skills.
Must have basic math and computer skills.
Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Strong Interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Great attention to detail.
Must be a team player.
Willing to work weekends, holidays or different shifts when needed to ensure the business is operational 24/7.
