SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Shipping & Receiving Associate for a large, well-known client in Marengo, IL. As a Shipping & Receiving Associate for SURESTAFF, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations including:
Shipping & Receiving (Picker / Packer)
Quality Assurance
Inventory Control (RF Scanners)
SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp to hire employees are offered competitive compensation $18/hr. as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include: 1st shift (5am-2:30pm) Mon-ThursOvertime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Shipping & Receiving Associate:
Load and unloads materials with Forklift equipment.
Prepares loads and products for shipment through counting, weighing tallying and verifying.
Maintains material and finished product inventory location and accuracy.
Removes and disposes of packing, scrap, material, skids, and cardboard.
Performs cycle counts.
Inspecting for damage and discrepancies and comparing inbound/outbound shipments to packing lists and bill of lading to ascertain that quantities and destinations and processing are accurate.
Required Qualifications of the Shipping & Receiving Associate:
5+ plus years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
High attention to detail and safety/compliance.
Demonstrate good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and sound judgement.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
