SURESTAFF is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for an international parcel company in Itasca, IL. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will process mail, operate a sit-down forklift, and process reports. SURESTAFF is invested in its team members! This temp-to-hire position offers competitive compensation of ($19/hr.) and a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).
Shipping and Receiving Clerk Duties & Responsibilities:
Process all inbound and outbound loads; load and unload the trailers with a sit-down forklift.
Process air bills, bills of lading, work with UPS and FedEx. Interact with the truck drivers, process reports, use client email (Gmail), and Google Docs.
Meet sorting production quota standards.
Inspect each piece of mail to ensure the labels are affixed correctly and the zip code on the label matches within the system.
Duties may include reassignment to alternate operational areas as business needs require.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
Shipping and Receiving Clerk Qualifications:
Previous shipping receiving clerk experience is preferred.
Sit-down forklift experience preferred.
Basic software skills including email and Excel is required.
Work overtime as necessary & required.
Stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs. repetitive motions.
