SureStaff has an immediate need for a Software Support Engineer in Indianapolis, IN. Direct Hire with full benefits. ($57k-$65k) Candidates must be willing to learn and grow with the company. Minimal travel. Great culture and continued growth make our client the one to join!
The Software Support Engineer will provide technical support to sales, marketing and service for applications dealing with complex knowledge of company product functionality, performance and operating system. Travel to customer sites may occasionally be required.
Position responsibilities:
- Testing software for application conformance
- Time studies/ customer training/ applications support (phone and at customer location)
- Reporting of issues identified, and activities performed
- Support Testing / Customer Support
Position requirements:
- Two or Four year technical degree or equivalent experience
- Proven machinist or applications experience in 3- and 5-axis mills and multi-axis lathes
- Experience with CAD/CAM, work-holding concepts and cutting tool selection and technology
- Experience with CLIENT controls is a plus
