Surestaff is immediately hiring Spot Welding Assemblers for a steel door manufacturing facility in Belvidere, IL. This is a hands-on, production-focused position assembling and spot welding steel door components used for subway train systems. This is a great opportunity for individuals with welding experience looking for steady work in a manufacturing environment.

Available shifts:
• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Shifts are Monday through Friday. Overtime may be required based on production needs.
Responsibilities of the Spot Welding Assembler:
• Assemble steel door components according to specifications and blueprints
• Perform spot welding on steel parts to secure assemblies
• Operate basic welding and assembly equipment safely
• Inspect welded parts for quality, strength, and alignment
• Use hand and power tools to fit, fasten, and adjust components
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow safety procedures and production standards at all times
Required Qualifications:
• Previous spot welding experience required
• Experience in manufacturing or metal assembly preferred
• Ability to read work instructions or basic blueprints
• Comfortable working with steel materials and tools
• Dependable with consistent attendance
