Sr. Customer Service Rep -direct hire- do you have Customer Service within a manufacturing or logistics company? We want to talk then. Hours: 8:30am-5pm Monday thru FridayPay: Up to $27/hrLocation: ON-SITE in Romeoville, IL (just north of I55) What you will doThe Incumbent will be responsible for providing hands-on customer service experience with a customer-centric approach! Providing exceptional customer service at all times and in all situations. The Incumbent will also be responsible for responding to general product questions from both our partners. This position serves as a liaison between the business unit, the sales organization, and our customers across the various markets we serve. Resolve complex or unusual requests and problems that may require a customized response and communicate solutions or requested information to the customer. Will be required to be the backup for the Supervisor. What are requirements
Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college preferred
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Oracle, Microsoft D365, or other ERP & business system software is required.
Excellent, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
4+ years of customer service experience with a high-volume call/email setting
Excellent critical thinking skills to analyze and solve problems and provide customer-centric results.
Supply chain experience working with large accounts is preferred
Manufacturing and/or logistics experience
Ability to manage competing priorities, shift gears to react to urgent scenarios, and meet daily commitments
Purchasing experience preferred
Bi-lingual -English/Spanish preferred
