Job Description
SURESTAFF is hiring Stand Up Forklift Operators for the logistics company, C.H. Robinson, in Des Plaines, IL. The Forklift Operator manages the loading and unloading of air and ocean imports freight along with moving freight within the warehouse.
This is a temp-to-hire role. After 90 days, you may earn up to an additional $2 hourly increase.

Pay Rate:
$17.50 - $18/hour
Available shift hours:7AM - 3:30PM
11:30AM - 8PM
8AM - 6:30PM
Responsibilities of the Stand Up Forklift Operator:- Operational execution for all services required of C. H. Robinson Customers internal or external
- Unload/Load trucks and containers
- Must be able to fully operate a stand-up forklift safely
- Move freight within the warehouse including pallet rack locations
- Verify that the freight is correct by checking the physical freight with the paperwork
- Use an RF scanner to move and ship freight
- Turning in all paperwork and checking for accuracy
- Help break down freight
Required Qualifications of the Stand Up Forklift Operator: - Minimum of 1-year forklift experience with stand-up forklifts
- Strong Computer skills: especially with RFT and Tablets
- Able to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Operation of pallet jacks, RF scanners, and hand jacks.
