SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for an experienced Supply Chain Manager for a client in Midlothian, TX. The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and assisting in the day-to-day operations and managing plant employees working on multiple production lines. This position will supervise, mentor, and develop a team of production associates to ensure that production deadlines are met efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will enjoy mentoring others and have a proactive, problem-solving mentality. Demonstrated leadership abilities is a must! SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! Available shifts include 1st shift Monday - Friday. Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Manager:• Create & maintain partnerships with suppliers for goods and services to optimize inventory, maintain stable inventory levels at the best price. This includes raw materials, packaging, herbs, and MRO items. • Collaborate with Planning, Marketing, and R&D teams to align & execute supply chain activities with demand from product launch to end-of life transitions. • Focus on cost management and customer satisfaction by driving the creation and maintenance of KPIs for the teams under his/her direct supervision. Examples include: weekly delivery counts, warehouse cycle counts, PR-to PO aging indicators, vendor scorecards & lead-time maintenance, on time delivery metrics, freight cost measures, and purchased inventory targets. • Strong data management skills are a must. Candidates must be able to independently build KPI tools to measure operational and financial performance. • Familiar with ERP and MRP systems. Oracle cloud preferred. • Able to identify potential problems and points of friction and work to find solutions to maximize efficiency and revenue. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. • Proven ability to manage multiple teams and collaborate with multiple stakeholders. • Create & document supply chain management strategies that work across departments to increase efficiency and speed.
Preferred Qualifications of the Supply Chain Manager:
3+ years’ experience in a production, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
Previous leadership experience in manufacturing or production.
Proven track record of effective problem-solving.
Strong communication skills.
