SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a Team Lead for a large distribution center located in Midlothian, TX. The Team Lead will supervise daily operations of the warehouse including receiving incoming shipments, sorting & transferring materials, and preparing shipments for outbound delivery. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $19 as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include Monday - Friday 5am-2:30pm. Responsibilities of the Team Lead:•Organizes and files attendance paperwork for the Encapsulating Department. •Orders supplies and materials such as: shrink-wrap film, glue guns, glue sticks, first aid supplies, etc. •Keeps inventory records of the supplies and materials in the departments. •Compiles general production reports. •Distributes and collects Human Resources related forms. •Assists Production Supervisor with typing memos, documents, etc. •Assists with special projects that may entail working with other supervisors. •Monitors daily production and solves problems in the absence of Supervisor. •Fills Inputs daily production via computer and RF device. •Orders materials needed for daily and weekly production. •Verifies product and Lot numbering for daily production. •Compiles and records production data from daily production logs. •Complete daily batch records per FDA requirements. •Inspects fire extinguishers, first aid cabinets, and eye wash stations in the Encapsulating Department. •Coordinates activities with the supply cage personnel and coordinates employee orders with the appropriate staff member. •Maintains a clean and organized work area. •Follows GMPS and safety rules as outlined by company policy. •May perform Packer, General Worker, or Sorter/Inspector duties as needed. •Assists with annual physical inventory. Preferred Qualifications of the Team Lead:
3+ years’ experience in a distribution, cargo, warehouse, etc.
General knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control functions
Previous leadership experience in warehouse environment.
Proven track record of effective problem-solving.
Strong communication skills.
Strong time management of self and others.
