We have a direct hire opportunity on the 1st shift for a Technical Service Representative for electro-mechanical products. Have you provided technical support for HVAC, appliances, gambling equipment, or electronic equipment, we want to talk to you.
Compensation of $50-60K annually (100% on-site) at their facility in Lake Zurich, IL.Hours: 8:30am-5pm Mon-Fri
What you will do:Provide high-quality technical support to our valued customers. Main duties include answering phone calls from service agents, equipment dealers, and end users, providing real-time troubleshooting and analysis to resolve issues from the field involving their commercial coffee & tea brewing equipment and accessories. You must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in an extremely fast-paced open office environment, using your energy and passion to solve problems to provide world-class customer service. Other duties include replacement parts identification, as well as inventory and returns management. This position requires the ability to read electrical and plumbing schematics, bills of material, and electromechanical spec sheets and diagrams. Able to disassemble and assemble the machines they have in the tech service center, which is useful during a service call.
What is required: • Must have a strong understanding of mechanical components and electrical circuits related to commercial appliances • Ability to read electrical and piping schematics • Have industry-related technical experience • Prior experience using ERP systems (Great Plains Dynamic a plus) • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus • 3 years of experience in a similar role • Able to read and use handheld multimeters, digital thermometers, amp meters, and 3-phase power.• Ability to interact professionally with others and work independently in a challenging environment • Strong problem-solving and people skills • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software (Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook) • Experience designing, building, installing, troubleshooting and/or repairing commercial kitchen appliances and coffee/tea brewing equipment is a plus
