SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Tool Makers for a large, well-known client in Grayslake, IL. The Tool Maker will set up and operate equipment in the Tool Room and Die Cast departments, creating tooling imperative to the facility's production lines. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, make safety a priority, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

1st shift is available. Overtime is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Responsibilities of the Tool Maker:
Set up and operate Lathes, Surface Grinders, Milling Machines
Monitor process parameters on the injection machines and secondary systems.
Safe, accurate, and timely execution of tooling changeovers per work instructions.
Build small to medium die cast and injection molds from tooling drawings and piece part prints.
Troubleshoot molding problems including but not limited to flash, short shots, dimensional issues, etc.
Required Qualifications of the Tool Maker:
Previous experience in production and machine operating (Lathes, Surface Grinders).
Previous experience in plastics injection molding and die casting.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Experience reading and interpreting production specifications a plus.
