SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Tool and Die Maker for a manufacturer client in Garland, TX. The Tool & Die Maker will be responsible for designing, building, modifying, and maintaining precision progressive die tooling used in the production of components such as battery clips, electronic board connectors, and thin gauge metal stampings SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $35-$50 depending on experience as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include Monday-Friday 6am-4pm. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Tool And Die Maker:
Design and construct progressive dies and high-precision tooling in accordance with engineering specifications and tolerances (±.001”)
Utilize SolidWorks to develop and revise tool and die designs
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure tooling meets performance and manufacturability standards
Troubleshoot, adjust, and improve tooling as necessary for optimal production efficiency
Fabricate, assemble, and repair die components as needed
Contribute innovative ideas to enhance tooling performance, reduce downtime, and improve overall production output
Required Qualifications of the Tool And Die Maker:
Prior experience in the design or fabrication of tooling for small, less than 1” diameter envelope stampings or electronics-related components
Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
