SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a User Support II/ Help Desk for a well known company in Fort Wayne, IN. The premise of this role is providing efficient and accurate information to both internal and external company customers by utilizing their knowledge of the company products and programs as well as team members within the Customer Care Department. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation of $20-$23 per hour as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include 1st shift Monday - Friday 8am -5 pm Responsibilities of the User Support II include: • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software. • Diagnose technical problems with networks, applications, and cloud systems. • Clearly, communicate the problem solving/support process with end users via a ticketing system. • Delegate and engage the appropriate resources to ensure issue resolution.
Required Qualifications of User Support II: • HS Diploma; and relevant certification/education such as Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or Microsoft/Cisco certifications a plus • B.S. Degree in Computer Science preferred • At least 3 years demonstrated success in desktop support role • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint • Extensive experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments • Expert knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners • Deep knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs • Must have excellent team working skills and ability to coordinate efforts with team members • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills • Customer-oriented attitude
