SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for Warehouse Associates in Lewisville, TX. As a Warehouse Associate for SURESTAFF, you will work in a fast-paced warehouse and production environment.Warehouse Associates are required to perform a variety of tasks that require manual labor and use of tools, machinery, and equipment. The position entails heavy lifting and standing on your feet the entire shift. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp to hire employees are offered competitive compensation at $16 an hour as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shift Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm. Responsibilities of the Production (General Laborers):
Process, package, and ship orders.
Receive, unlaid, and stage incoming inventory items.
Organize stock and maintain inventory.
Inspect products for defects and damages.
Examine incoming and outgoing shipments.
Organize and clean warehouse space.
Check, verify, and fill customer orders.
Assist Production with buildouts.
Basic hardware assembly.
Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations.
Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures.
Daily housekeeping tasks.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications of the Production (General Laborers):
At least one (1) year of warehouse experience.
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable, and well-organized.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work with diverse groups.
Proficiency in the use of personal computers including such programs as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Able to learn company ERP system.
Must be able to effectively handle stressful situations.
Must be able to read and effectively interpret general business documentation.
